Uzcard, the only processing center in Uzbekistan, continues to accept payment system cards «Mir», including kobeizhing cards. This was reported yesterday, 21 September, by Uzcard to the TASS administration.
«Currently, the banks of Uzbekistan service the cards «Mir» without any restrictions», - the message was said.
In March this year, Uzcard stopped servicing «Mir» cards for technical reasons.
There are reports on social networks that some Uzbek banks have stopped receiving «Mir» cards, others are working to ban them.
It should be noted that the US Treasury has announced the introduction of secondary sanctions against banks that accept Russian «Mir» cards. In connection with this warning, the banks of Turkey and Kazakhstan began to stop receiving «Mir» cards.
