2345Uzbekistan has formalized diplomatic relations with two West African countries, Liberia and Togo, according to an announcement by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on his official Telegram channel.
Liberia became the 154th nation to establish official ties with Uzbekistan. The joint communiqué was signed by Bakhtiyor Saidov and Liberia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sara Beysolow Nyanti.
Togo followed as the 155th country to formalize relations with Uzbekistan, with the joint communiqué signed by Togo’s Foreign Minister, Robert Dussey.
