Over 4.5 million vehicles registered to individuals in Uzbekistan

As of April 1, 2025, a total of 4,522,100 motor vehicles owned by individuals were registered in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The vast majority of these—approximately 93 percent—are passenger cars. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, the number of registered cars increased by 79,800.
The breakdown of registered motor vehicles by type is as follows:
- Passenger cars – 4,207,600 units
- Trucks – 293,300 units
- Minibuses – 7,700 units
- Special vehicles – 7,400 units
- Buses – 6,100 units
Additionally, it was previously reported that as of April 1, 2025, 65,200 electric cars were registered in the country.
