Uzbek judokas have risen in the IJF ranking

The International Judo Federation (IJF) announced the updated ranking of judokas after the "Grand Slam" judo competition in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

Representatives of Uzbekistan, who successfully participated in the "Grand Slam" competition, significantly increased their rating.  For example, the representative of Uzbekistan, Diyora Keldiyorova, took 4th place in the women's -52 kg weight category, while Shahram Ahadov took 24th place in the men's -73 kg category.

Davlat Bobonov, who won the World Judo Championship held in Tashkent, is still leading among the -90 kg athletes.  Muzaffar Toraboyev, another representative of Uzbekistan who won the last World Cup, completed the top ten in -100kg.

It should be recalled that Uzbekistani judokas won 2 gold medals at the World Championship in Tashkent, and 1 silver and bronze medal at the "Grand Slam" competition in Abu Dhabi.
