50% monthly bonus for certified Uzbek language teachers in schools  

Teachers of the Uzbek language (state language) in general secondary schools will receive a 50 percent monthly bonus, as outlined in the Presidential Decree on the State Program for the Implementation of the "Uzbekistan-2030" Strategy in the Year of Environmental Protection and the "Green Economy."  

According to the decree, starting from February 1, 2025, teachers of the Uzbek language and literature in schools under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education who hold a certificate of the appropriate level from the national assessment system will be eligible for this additional payment.  

However, during a February 10 session of the "Milliy Tiklanish" Democratic Party faction, concerns were raised regarding the implementation of the decree. Faction member Nodir Tilavoldiev criticized the Ministry of Preschool and School Education for allegedly limiting the bonus only to teachers of "Mother Language and Literature" and "History," despite Presidential Decree No. 37 (issued on February 21, 2024) stating that all certified teachers of "Uzbek Language and Literature" should receive the payment.  

Deputy Minister Sherzod Karimov responded, assuring that a separate document is being prepared to clarify the issue and that a positive resolution will be reached soon.
