14555Dilorom Yuldosheva, a seamstress from Uzbekistan, has been included in the BBC’s prestigious “100 Women” list for 2024. This annual compilation highlights 100 inspiring and influential women from around the globe.
Two years ago, Yuldosheva experienced a life-altering accident in which she lost both legs. However, she demonstrated remarkable resilience and turned adversity into an opportunity by launching her sewing business.
Through studying entrepreneurship and resource management, Yuldosheva built her business and empowered others. She trained over 40 skilled professionals, organized free master classes, and secured contracts for producing uniforms for workers and schoolchildren. Within months, her business saw significant growth and success.
The 2024 list also includes renowned personalities such as Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad, actress Sharon Stone, and many other influential women.
