Saidazim Gulomov appointed acting CEO of “UzAuto Motors Powertrain”

Saidazim Mirkamolovich Gulomov has been appointed acting CEO of "UzAuto Motors Powertrain" JSC. The announcement was made through the unified corporate information portal of the National Agency for Promising Projects.

This decision was reached during the company's shareholder meeting on December 26, 2024.

Gulomov will serve as the acting CEO until a permanent appointment is made. The decision regarding the new CEO is expected to be finalized by June 30, 2025.

For reference, "UzAuto Motors Powertrain" manufactures advanced second-generation B-DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) gasoline and dual-fuel engines, along with turbocharged and atmospheric CCSS (Cylinder Set Strategy) Prime engines. The company produces 1.2-liter and 1.5-liter engines that power popular models like Onix, Tracker, and Cobalt.

It is also important to note that Bu Andersson, the former head of "UzAuto Motors" and "UzAuto Motors Powertrain", concluded his tenure in December 2024.
