UzAutoMotors issues a warning to car buyers

The UzAuto Motors company issued an appeal to buyers intending to buy a car, urging them to refrain from buying contracts concluded for cars through social networks, in particular, online trading sites.

According to the company, at the same time, work is being carried out regularly to simplify the procedure for purchasing cars, to improve the mechanism for ensuring the transparency of this process.

“The reduction of the advance payment for some individuals, as well as the introduction of a convenient system that allows for the online execution of the contract, began to be used for the purchase of a car not for personal use, but only for commercial purposes (resale),” the company warned.

The company emphasizes that if more than 2 cars of the same model are purchased per year in the name of one person, each subsequent car will move to the end of the “queue” and the delivery time of cars will increase by 120 days.  The company is considering extending this period to 270 days in order to ensure the availability of vehicles for consumers in the event of repeated purchases of multiple vehicles by the same person.

“These days, in various Internet advertising services (for example, olx.uz) offers to “buy” unpaid contracts with the promise of “registration of the car in your name” appeared.

Please note that the contract is automatically concluded by the “UzAvtoSavdo” system.  Neither the buyer nor the dealer can change the information in it.  In addition, after receiving the car, the system sends an electronic invoice to the State Traffic Safety Service (YHXDX) to register the license plate with the participation of the buyer,” the company says.

UzAuto Motors asks buyers to be careful and not to agree to dubious offers to buy contracts.
