Commencement of the 2024 Umrah season was announced

The "Umrah 2024" season is scheduled to begin on September 10, as reported by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.
According to the announcement, the upcoming season of "Umrah 2024," organized by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Committee on Religious Affairs, will see pilgrims transported to Saudi Arabia via direct flights operated by Uzbekistan Airways.
Pilgrims will spend three days in Medina and seven days in Makkah. Throughout the pilgrimage, they will be accompanied by an experienced team of imams, elders, and qualified medical professionals. Accommodations will be provided at the Grand Shahba hotels in Medina and the Marmara Group Hotel in Makkah, where rooms are equipped with 3-4 beds. Pilgrims will be served three meals daily, including dessert and fresh fruit.
''The pilgrimage includes visits to holy sites in both cities. Additionally, medical centers, transport services, and working group staff will be available around the clock at the hotels. At the end of the trip, Zamzam water will be distributed as a gift'', the report states
It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that the organization of Umrah events has been designated as a separate licensable activity.
