About 100 Uzbekistan citizens who fled to Moldova after the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be repatriated through Romania. Yusuf Kabuljanov, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, reported this.

According to the official of the Ministry, 94 citizens accompanied by Uzbekistan diplomats crossed the Moldova-Romania border. The plan is to evacuate them from Bucharest airport on a special flight.

Also, on 9 March, 245 Uzbek citizens, including 35 women, 20 adults and 3 infants, were repatriated from Ukraine through Katowice airport in Poland.

It is noted that from 28 February to 10 March, 22 flights have been organized and 5,282 citizens of Uzbekistan have been returned to the country from the conflict zone.
