The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine called on people to refrain from traveling to Ukraine and leave the country before the conflict subsided.
"In connection with the increase in rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities, in response to calls by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to come to Ukraine and stay in that country, the Embassy once again calls on our compatriots to refrain from traveling to Ukraine until the end of the conflict.
In addition, due to the aggravation of the situation on the front and the high probability of the continuation of missile and artillery attacks on the territory of Ukraine, we ask our compatriots to leave this country for their own personal security," the Embassy said.
It should be recalled that today, 10 October, Russia subjected Kyiv, the Dnieper, and several other cities in Ukraine to heavy rocket attacks. Ukraine has issued a nationwide weather warning. In Kyiv, as well as in other regions of Ukraine, including the Dnieper region, Odesa, and Kharkiv, a series of explosions occurred in the morning.
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Rostislav Smirnov said that at least 14 people died and about 60 were injured. The explosion destroyed six vehicles and damaged another 15. According to local Telegram channels, the explosions occurred on the territory of the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as in one of the offices of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Vladimir Street. Trains on the red line of the Kyiv metro are suspended, and all metro stations operate as shelters.
