7948It was revealed that the director of general education school No. 21 in Khojaly district of Karakalpakstan, while in Tashkent, collected 20,000 soms from teachers and technicians under the pretext commission. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prosecutor's Office of Karakalpakstan.
It is noted that on 10 February of this year, a school teacher D.R., collected 320,000 soms from 16 teachers and gave it to the director. The principal, P.A., the director of the 21st school in the district, according to an assignment collected 360,000 sums from 18 teachers. The total amount collected was 680,000 sums.
School director P.A. in his testimony said that these funds were collected to replace the banners in the school with new ones, and these funds were not used anywhere and were returned to the teachers.
A group of teachers asked P.A. about the reasons for the collection of money who confirmed the instructions that were given. Another group of teachers reported that the money had been collected under the pretext of feeding the visiting commission for lunch.
Following this situation, on 24 February of this year, the school director P.A. was dismissed based on his voluntary resignation.
"Currently, the investigation is continuing until the investigation, and according to the result, a legal decision will be made," the report said.
