Transfer application process begins

Starting today, July 15, the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency has announced that applications for transferring studies to higher education institutions (HEIs) are now being accepted.
Transfer applications will be accepted until August 5 through two platforms:
- transfer.edu.uz: for transfers between state HEIs within the country.
- my.uzbmb.uz: for transfers from foreign and non-state HEIs, whether they operate abroad or within the republic, to state HEIs.
Only two categories of students are permitted to transfer between HEIs in Uzbekistan:
- Students who get married can transfer to the HEI in their spouse's place of residence.
- When a civil servant relocates for work, their child or spouse can transfer with a recommendation letter from the relevant supervisor.
Students from foreign and private higher education institutions in Uzbekistan must take an exam to transfer to state HEIs. They can only transfer if they score the required points as specified in the relevant table. Students who do not achieve a passing score may still be accepted under a "super-contract" arrangement.
As a reminder, the state exams for entering HEIs began yesterday, July 14.
