Football fans warned against fake ticket scams in Tashkent

Today, March 20, cases of illegal reselling and falsification of tickets for the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan match, part of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, have been reported. The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service released a statement addressing this issue.

“Due to these actions, many people with fake tickets were unable to enter the stadium during previous matches. We warn that strict measures will be taken against those engaging in such dishonest practices. We urge football fans not to purchase tickets from scalpers and remind everyone that fake tickets will not grant access to the stadium,” the statement emphasized.

Earlier, the Uzbekistan Football Association and the Tashkent City DIA asked fans attending the match at the "Bunyodkor" Stadium to observe public order and adhere to proper fan behavior.
