Daring or Recklessness? Revealing the Identity of the Individual Who Constructed a House Adjacent to a Multi-Story Apartment in Tashkent

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy has reported an incident involving a citizen who constructed an additional house and office in front of an apartment building in Tashkent.  The unauthorized construction has sparked protests among the residents in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city.

The individual identified as N.R., the owner of the third house, arbitrarily enclosed a portion of the previously open terrace with bricks and converted it into a residential and office space.  This action has violated the law, prompting the issuance of a report against the citizen.  The owner has been instructed to restore the altered areas to their original state.

Regrettably, such occurrences are not uncommon in Tashkent.  It is widely known that the unauthorized use of land in front of multi-storey buildings is strictly prohibited by law.  Nevertheless, situations like the one described above continue to astonish the public.  One cannot help but wonder whether it stems from arrogance or sheer ignorance.

It is worth noting that a similar incident was recently discovered in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent City.  An illegally constructed house was found on the rooftop of a multi-storey residential building in the "Yangi Khabi" neighborhood.  These instances highlight the pressing need for stricter enforcement of building regulations and increased awareness among citizens regarding the lawful use of land.
