Farhod Ravshanovich Abdullayev, previously the mayor of Tashkent's Uchtepa district, has been relieved of his duties following his transition to a new role.

Abdullayev has taken on the role of chairman at JSC "Technological Metals Combine of Uzbekistan."

It is noteworthy that this combine was created by presidential decree, originating from the "Rare Metals and Hard Alloys" scientific production association within JSC "Olmaliq KMK."

Jamshid Olimjonov, the first deputy mayor, is currently serving as the acting mayor of Uchtepa district.

For background, Farhod Abdullayev was born in 1978 in Tashkent and graduated from Tashkent State Technical University in 1999. Throughout his career, he has led various enterprises, including serving as the general director of the "Tashkent Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap and Waste Processing Plant" JSC from 2011-2017 and the "Uzbekistan Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap and Waste Processing Plant" JSC from 2017-2018. Since 2019, he has been the mayor of Uchtepa district.

It is also worth noting that Jamol Nosirov, the former mayor of Bukhara, was recently appointed as the head of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change in the Bukhara Region.
