Tourism committee is reorganized.  Umid Shodiyev is appointed as the chairman

The Tourism Committee was reorganized under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan.  The relevant decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the appointment of a new head of the committee was adopted.

It is noted that by the President’s decision, Umid Rustamovich Shodiyev was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

It should be noted that before that he worked as a permanent representative of Uzbekistan to UNESCO.

We remind you that today, on July 27, several appointments were made in Uzbekistan.  In particular, earlier Ozodbek Nazarbekov was appointed as the Minister of Culture, and the tourism sector was removed from his control.  Also, today, a new mayor and a new deputy chairman of the Central Bank were appointed to the city of Nukus.
