Tora Bobolov resigned

Tora Bobolov was released from the position of governor of Surkhandarya region.  Sherzod Asadov, press secretary of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gave information about this.

“Tora Abdiyevych Bobolov was released from the position of governor of Surkhandarya region due to his transfer to another job,” the report said.

Tora Bobolov was born in 1970.  In 1992, he graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics, from 1994 to 2003 he worked in various positions in the Surkhandarya Region Department of the State Committee for State Property Management and Entrepreneurship Support of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 2003-2004 he was the chairman of the Chamber of Producers and Entrepreneurs of the Surkhandarya Region.  Between 2004-2016, he worked as the head of the regional department of the Surkhandarya region of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and from 2016-2017, he was the head of the comprehensive regional development department of the Surkhandarya region hokimity.  From 2017 to April 2019, he was the first deputy of the mayor of Surkhandarya region for economic and business issues.  On 1 May 2019, Tora Bobolov was confirmed as the regional governor.
