Tokayev warmly welcomed at Tashkent-Humo airport

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, a ceremonial welcome was held for President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit. This was reported by the press services of the Oq Oqorda (the Presidential Palace) and the President of Uzbekistan.
In honor of the high-ranking guest, the flags of both countries were raised, and an honor guard was formed. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were performed by a military orchestra.
Presidents Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev passed in review before the honor guard and greeted the members of the official delegations.
The two leaders held talks at Tashkent-Humo Airport, exchanging views on further strengthening the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan strategic partnership and alliance relations.
According to the visit program, tomorrow, November 15, high-level talks and the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council will take place. During the summit, major joint projects are expected to be launched, and a significant package of bilateral documents is set to be signed.
On November 16, President Tokayev will also participate in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States.
