The Minister of Transport, Ilhom Mahkamov, his first deputy, Mamanbiy Omarov, the head of the Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Interior, Olim Saidov, and the chairman of "Toshshahartranskhizmat" JSC, Anvar Jorayev, received a final warning during a meeting chaired by the President. The warning addressed issues and priorities related to housing, construction, communal economy, transport, and ecology.

During the meeting, it was revealed that the system comprises 3 ministries, 3 inspections, 5 companies, deputy mayors overseeing construction and communal economy in the regions, with the mayors of the capital and Tashkent region responsible for the construction and communal sector. Despite the appointment of a special deputy, discontent among the people persists in this complex area.

The head of state introduced modern standards in the construction industry, identified shortcomings in updating construction norms, reducing the cost of drinking water, and minimizing losses in the network. He also emphasized the need to increase local flights, reduce traffic in Tashkent, and enhance public transport. The officials' performance in these matters was deemed unsatisfactory.

Consequently, Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov, his first deputy Mamanbiy Omarov, the head of the Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Olim Saidov, and the chairman of JSC "Toshshahartranskhizmat" Anvar Jorayev were declared reprimand and issued a final warning.

It's worth noting that during a meeting on January 18 of this year, focusing on the tasks of export, investment, and local industry in 2024 and chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov had already been cautioned.
