Black particles were reported in hot water in two districts of Tashkent, according to social media posts. The 'Veolia Energy Tashkent' LLC responded to this issue.

On January 3-4, residents in Mirzo Ulugbek and Yashnabad districts experienced black particles and turbidity in their hot water, originating from the 1st HC (Heat Center) boiler house managed by the 'Tashkent Heat Center' enterprise.

Investigations revealed that the release of sulfated coal from a water purification filter in the 1st thermal center boiler room on the night of January 3 caused this occurrence.

The sulfated coal, utilized in water filtration, led to the appearance of black fractions (sulfocoal) in consumers' hot water in the aforementioned districts. The statement assures that sulfocoal doesn't endanger consumers, and the 1st HC (Heat Center) boiler house staff resolved the sulfated coal flow in the heat networks.
