The State Security Service investigates the governors of three districts of Tashkent

Bahodir Abduvaliyev, governor of Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, Shavkat Irgashev, governor of Mirzo Ulugbek district, and Farkhod Abdullayev, governor of Uchtepa district, were relieved of their duties and demoted to the position of acting governor.  This was announced today, 16 January at a meeting held in the presence of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The State Prosecutor's Office and the General Prosecutor's Office were instructed to study their activities.

The fact is that today a meeting is being held regarding the measures taken to ensure a continuous supply of energy resources to the population in the winter season.

uch a decision was made because he had assessed the situation in advance and had not adequately prepared for the winter season.

"I am deeply worried and saddened by the mood and emotions of every family and every person suffering from the cold," said the head of state.

It was noted that the situation that has arisen has clearly shown how the leaders of the sectors and regions have worked until today.  In particular, Tashkent city leaders at all levels were sharply criticized for not being ready for the current situation.

It should be recalled that a short time ago, the mayor of Tashkent Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev was also fired at this meeting.
