A fire erupted today, May 15, at a large shopping store in Sergeli District, Tashkent, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
At 10:15 AM, authorities received a report that the roof of the "Havas" store, located on Qipchoq Street in Sergeli-3, had caught fire.
Four fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene by 10:21 AM and swiftly began extinguishing the flames. Officials confirmed that the situation was fully under control, with city and district emergency response leaders present at the site.
Preliminary reports indicate no injuries. The fire was contained by 11:00 AM and fully extinguished by 11:04 AM.
According to the store’s administration, the fire was caused by a solar panel installed on the roof.
