Fire breaks out in newly constructed building in Tashkent

A fire broke out in a newly constructed building in Tashkent, as reported by the city's Emergency Situations Department.

It was noted that today, September 5, at 1:52 p.m., the Fire and Rescue Brigade (FVB) of Tashkent city received a report of a fire at a newly constructed building located at 71 Mahdumkuli Street, Yashnabad District, Tashkent city.

The fire-rescue crew arrived at the scene at 1:59 p.m. and extinguished the fire by 2:12 p.m.

As a result of the fire, 10 square meters of construction waste on the 10th floor of the building were damaged. 

No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident.

For reference, on August 29, a fire broke out in forest land in Tashkent region.
