The presentation of a red tie to the pupils of the school 283 in Uchtepa district of Tashkent sparked a rush on social media. Some called it the return of the «pioneer’s tie» to the Uzbek schools.

According to the press service under the Ministry of Public Education, the school administration, in consultation with parents of children, has chosen a red tie for pupils in the elementary classes and a blue tie for the high classes for the opening ceremony of school.

The rest of the time, the school did not require a tie, but a white shirt and dark blue pants.
