Apartment fire reported in Tashkent

A fire broke out in an apartment located in a residential building in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. The incident was confirmed by the capital’s Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, on May 5 at 19:25, the Tashkent city Fire Department received an alert about a fire in an apartment situated in Chilonzor-31, Uchtepa district. Fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene at 19:32, and the blaze was fully extinguished by 19:48.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the amount of material damage.
It should be recalled that earlier, a fire occurred at a synthiphone production workshop in the technopark area on Kushbegi Street, Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent, resulting in two deaths and five injuries.
