2072A section of the small ring road in Tashkent’s Yashnabad district will be closed to all traffic from November 5 to December 5, according to the city administration’s press service.
The closure is due to ongoing road construction and repair work in the district. As a result, the side road at the intersection of the small ring road (KHAY) with Makhtumkuli Street will be temporarily out of service.
The administration apologized for any inconvenience and recommended that drivers use alternative routes.
Previously, "Voice of Uzbekistan" Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district was also closed for two months due to modernization work. The street is being transformed into a 24/7 pedestrian-friendly zone, with updated infrastructure to meet the needs of residents, commuters, and urban planning standards. Consequently, from 2:00 p.m. on October 18 to December 20, the section of "Voice of Uzbekistan" Street between Shahrisabz Street and Istiqlal Street is closed to traffic.
