Fire breaks out at Globus shopping center in Tashkent

A fire broke out today, July 18, at the Globus shopping center in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. This was confirmed by the capital’s Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, at 19:54 the department received an alert about a fire at a shopping mall located on Zargarlik Street in the Uchtepa district. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene by 20:00, and the blaze was fully extinguished by 20:03.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the damage.
For context, it is worth recalling that a fire previously occurred at a production workshop in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent.
