A fire breaks out in “Ecobozor” in Tashkent

A fire broke out in the "Ecobozor" complex in the Shaikhontohur district of Tashkent city. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On October 28th, at 06:58 AM, a fire ignited within the "Ecobozor" complex, situated on Beruni Street in the "Boston" neighborhood of the Shaikhontohur district. In response, five fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 07:04 AM. The fire was contained at 07:19 AM and successfully extinguished at 07:26 AM.

The fire resulted in damage to the outer wall covering of the shopping complex, with approximately 80 square meters affected, as well as 70 square meters of damage to the cafe's interior and roof. Thanks to the swift actions of the rescue teams, 7000 square meters of the shopping complex were spared from the flames. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities as a result of this incident.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently under investigation.
It is worth noting that a restaurant in the Shaikhontohur district of the capital had previously suffered a fire.
