Some streets in Tashkent temporarily closed

Several streets in Tashkent have been temporarily closed to vehicle traffic, according to the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs.
From 24 November to 4 December, traffic restrictions will be in place due to the national final (third) stage of the New Uzbekistan “Olympic Peaks” sports competition, also known as the “Presidential Olympiad.”
Vehicle movement will be temporarily halted on the following routes:
– From Yangi Uzbekistan Street toward the new hotels (along the border of the Yangi Uzbekistan Park);
– From Milliy Bog Street toward the new hotels.

The restrictions apply to all vehicles, with the exception of special-purpose transport.
It is worth noting that from 21 to 24 November, one-way traffic was restricted on a section of the Small Ring Road in Tashkent—from Beshqayraghoch Street to Foziltepa Street—due to repair works.
