Eid prayers to be held in 122 mosques across Tashkent

Following the decision of the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan that Eid al-Adha will fall on June 6, Eid prayers will be held in 122 mosques across the capital tomorrow. As part of the preparations, several roads in Tashkent will be temporarily closed to ensure public safety and the smooth conduct of the prayers. This was reported by the Road Traffic Safety Department under the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.

According to the announcement, vehicle movement will be restricted on the following roads from 00:00 to 08:00 on June 6:

Mirzo Ulugbek district

- Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street in front of the "Tura Buva" mosque, from Shortepa Street to Sultaniya Street.

Bektemir district

- Bektemir Avenue in front of the "Khoton" mosque, from Husayn Boyqaro Street to Bektemir Road Street.

Almazar district

- KHAY Street in front of the "Islamabad" mosque, from KHAY–Sag'bon intersection to Nurafshan–Sag'bon intersection.
- Karasaroy Street in front of the "Hazrati Imam" mosque, from Karasaroy–Nurafshan intersection to Karasaroy–Abdulla Qadiri intersection.
- Sag'bon–Sag'bon 12-tor intersection to Keles Road–Noraztepa intersection in front of the "Dostjonboy" mosque.

Shaykhontohur district

- Kukcha Darvoza–Nurafshon intersection to Kukcha Darvoza–Beshkairagoch intersection in front of the "Shaikh Zainiddin" mosque.
- Bunyodkor–Kamolon intersection to Kamolon–Ustazoda 2-tor intersection in front of the "Khoja Allambardor" mosque.
- Nurafshon–Sebzor intersection to Nurafshon–Labzak intersection in front of the "Koh Ota" mosque.

Chilonzor district

- Al Khorazmiy–Khirmontepa intersection to Al Khorazmiy–Katta Qani intersection in front of the "Ubay ibn Ka'b" mosque.
- Al Khorezmiy–Sogalli Ata intersection to Honabad 2nd Berk–Sogalli Ata Street in front of the "Sheikh Muhammad Sodiq Muhammad Yusuf" mosque.
- From under the Bunyodkor–Mukimiy bridge to opposite the Oliy Majlis building in front of the "Novza" mosque.

Uchtepa district

- Lutfiy–Khirmontepa intersection to Lutfiy–Katta Qani intersection in front of the "Abdullah ibn Masud" mosque.
- Nazarbek–Mahorat intersection to Nazarbek–Zamakhshary 1st Tor intersection in front of the "Hazrati Ali" mosque.

Yunusobod district

- KHAY–Kurgazma intersection to KHAY–Sharof Rashidov intersection in front of the "Minor" mosque.
- Bogishamol Street to Shivli Street in front of the "Mirzo Yusuf" mosque.

Yakkasaroy district

- KHAY–Kushbegi intersection to KHAY–Faizli Tashkent intersection in front of the "Usmon bin Mazun" mosque.

Sergeli district

- THAY–Fayzli Tashkent intersection to THAY–Qumariq intersection in front of the "Nurul Islam" mosque.

Yashnabad district

- Fergana Yuli–Fitrat intersection to Fergana Yuli–Tolimarjon intersection in front of the "Islom Ota" mosque.

Mirabad district

- THAY Street in front of the "Kuylik Ota" mosque, from under the Kuylik Bazaar bridge to THAY–Munis intersection.

In addition to these areas, vehicle movement will be temporarily restricted on other streets near mosques.

It is also noted that public transportation in Tashkent, including buses and the metro, will begin operating at 03:00 on June 6 to accommodate worshippers.
