A 41-year-old pedestrian died in Tashkent traffic accident

On September 8, a 41-year-old man was struck and killed by a Cobalt car in Tashkent, according to the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent city DIA.

The incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Bunyodkor Avenue in the Chilanzar district. J.Kh., a 26-year-old male, was driving the Cobalt when he hit the pedestrian, born in 1983. The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries.

"In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Department of the Tashkent city DIA under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Violation of the safety rules for vehicle operation). The investigation is ongoing," the report stated.

We remind you that a 4-year-old girl recently died in a traffic accident involving a "Jiguli" and a "Spark" in the Samarkand region.
