Girl attempting to jump from 9th floor stopped by police in Tashkent

In the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent, a minor girl attempted to jump from the 9th floor of a multi-storey building. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital.

It was revealed that the girl tried to jump from the roof of the building while standing on a pole. A citizen who witnessed the incident immediately informed the duty unit of the rescue service of the internal affairs bodies. The incident was then reported to the nearest neighborhood prevention inspector.

According to the inspector, when he approached, the girl was in a highly agitated state. He engaged in a preventive conversation with her for 30 minutes. At the moment she tried to jump, the inspector managed to stop her. The girl strongly resisted, but the officer held her with the help of his colleague’s belt and handed her over to emergency services.

After the situation was resolved, doctors examined the minor, and specialists interviewed her.

It should be recalled that earlier in Tashkent, a citizen jumped from a 9th-floor window, landing on the roof of an entrance hall before falling to the ground. His life was saved.
