Experts of the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research analyzed the changes in house prices in Tashkent for November 2022.
According to the analysis, in November of this year, house sales in Tashkent increased by an average of 8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
During this period, prices for 1 square meter increased by an average of 27%, that is, this indicator was 849 US dollars in November 2021, and reached 1078 dollars in November 2022.
In some areas of Tashkent, house prices for 1 square meter are significantly higher than the average ($1078), i.e. as follows:
In Mirabad - $1285 (+20%)
Single - $1178 (+9%)
In Shaikhontohur - 1144 dollars (+6%)
In Mirzo-Ulugbek - $1137 (+6%)
In Yunusabad - 1117 dollars (+4%)
For information, during the 9 months of 2022, the average salary in the city of Tashkent reached 5.9 million soms, which increased by 32.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021. Given that the annual inflation rate was 12.2 percent during this period, real wage incomes increased by 20.3 percent. During this period, the exchange rate of the som against 1 US dollar changed from 10,672.30 soms to 10,973.39 soms (2.8%).
