Tinted buses have started moving in Tashkent

Tinted buses have started moving in Tashkent, as shown in photos and videos circulating on social networks. QALAMPIR.UZ contacted the press service of "Toshshahartrans" JSC to verify the news.

According to the report, during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Chilonzor district on May 26 of this year, it was decided to allow free tinting of bus windows as an exception. The aim is to enhance passenger comfort and reduce fuel and electricity consumption used for cooling the bus cabins and electric buses.

To implement this decision, 144,400 square meters of window tinting film were provided to JSC "Toshshahartrans" by the Traffic Safety Service of the Department of Public Security under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is worth noting that several Telegram channels reported today that approximately ten tinted buses have already started operating on bus route 80 in Tashkent.
