In Tashkent, a father has paid $150,000 in advance alimony for his three children, the Tashkent city department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement reported.
According to the report, based on the orders of the Uchtepa district interdistrict civil court dated May 17, 2018, and April 20, 2022, the debtor B.T. is obliged to pay alimony to the claimant B.G. for three children. The payments are set at one-third of the debtor’s salary and other income each month until the children reach adulthood.
The district department has initiated the relevant enforcement actions and sent notifications to the parties involved. During the enforcement proceedings, the debtor requested that the Bureau calculate the alimony amount in advance to cover the maintenance of the three minor children until they reach adulthood.
Accordingly, the total alimony amount to be paid in advance until the children reach adulthood, calculated under Article 145 of the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the resolution no. 808 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated June 10, 2018, through the electronic program of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, for the period from July 1, 2025, to February 2, 2040, amounts to 1,847,413,073 soums.
During the enforcement proceedings, the father paid the alimony of $150,000 to the claimant on August 29, effectively completing the enforcement case.
It is worth noting that earlier, a father reportedly paid 2.4 billion soums in advance as alimony in Tashkent’s Uchtepa district. Earlier than that, another citizen set a record by paying 2.2 billion soums in a single day for one child in Nukus, Karakalpakstan.
