Elevator malfunction in Yunusabad district traps several residents

Yesterday, May 21, an elevator in an apartment building in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city stopped working, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The regional Emergency Situations Department received a report that the elevator was stuck and several people were trapped inside.
Rescuers from the district’s Federal Emergency Management Agency arrived at the scene and used special equipment to open the elevator. All trapped residents were safely rescued.
It is worth recalling that earlier, in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, a 50-year-old man was reported to have sexually assaulted a minor girl inside an elevator.
