Furniture workshop catches fire in Tashkent

On June 6, a fire broke out in a furniture manufacturing workshop in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, at 07:55 the Federal Fire Service received a call regarding a fire in one of the furniture workshops located in the "Bobur" mahalla on Sergeli Street. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 08:07. The fire was contained by 08:42 and fully extinguished at 10:23 — exactly 2.5 hours after the initial alert.

The ministry confirmed that no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation.

It should be noted that just a day earlier, on June 5, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that four houses in the Almazar district of Tashkent were damaged by fire. At the time, no casualties were reported. However, in a statement sent to QALAMPIR.UZ, it was claimed that six houses were affected and several people were injured.
