Lacetti catches fire in Tashkent; Investigation underway

On January 9, a Lacetti car caught fire in Tashkent, as reported by the city's Emergency Situations Department.

At 08:50, the Tashkent city Fire and Rescue Service received a report of a car fire on Mirzo Ulugbek Street, in the Mirzo Ulugbek District of Tashkent.

Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 08:52, and the fire was extinguished by 08:56.

“There were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently being investigated,” the report stated.

Earlier, a Cobalt car had caught fire in the Shaykhantohur district of Tashkent. No deaths or injuries were reported in that incident either.
