New ’’street hooligans’’ spotted in Tashkent? (video)

Today, October 15, a video circulated on social media showing several individuals allegedly using force against other citizens at an office in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, sparking widespread discussion. The Tashkent City Internal Affairs department has issued a statement regarding the incident.

During the investigation, it was determined that the incident in the video occurred in January of this year at a private clinic in Yunusabad specializing in the treatment of individuals with substance abuse and alcohol dependency. The video depicts aggressive behavior by patients brought to the clinic for treatment, as well as staff members attempting to calm them down.

’’The statement emphasized that claims comparing the incident to street hooligans, which have sparked discussion, are far from the truth. No complaints regarding this case have previously been filed with law enforcement by citizens or their relatives,’’ the report said.

It was noted that a pre-investigation check is currently being conducted by a working group led by the leadership of the Tashkent city Internal Affairs department. A lawful decision will be ensured upon completion of the review. The process is under the personal supervision of the Minister of Internal Affairs.

It is worth noting that earlier, three individuals brutally beat another man after assaulting his brother in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region.
