“Jiguli” catches fire with driver inside in Tashkent region

6686A "Jiguli" car with a driver inside caught fire in the Tashkent region, according to a report from the Traffic Safety Department of the General Directorate of Internal Affairs.
The incident occurred on September 30 at 8:20 p.m. on the "M39 highway (from 813 km) - May village - Chirchik city" road, which passes through the "Mehnat" neighborhood in the Qibray district of the Tashkent region. A fire broke out in the "Vaz 2106" vehicle, driven by M.F., born in 1990, while he was driving on the 10th kilometer.
As a result of the fire, the car was destroyed. The driver was able to fall out of the vehicle and avoid serious harm. There were no passengers in the car at the time of the incident.
"Currently, the Qibray District Fire Safety Department is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire," the report states.
It’s worth noting that earlier this year, a bus also caught fire at a gas station in Kokand.
