Man dances on hood of Malibu for trend in Tashkent, faces penalty (video)

A video showing a man dancing on the hood of a Malibu car in an attempt to replicate a social media trend has gone viral on Uzbek social networks. The incident has since been addressed by the Tashkent City Traffic Safety Department.

According to the department, the individual was quickly identified and detained. During the investigation, it was discovered that the Malibu was operating with a license plate registered to a Damas vehicle. As a result, the car was impounded and taken to a penalty area.

Authorities drew up official documents against the individual under Article 125, Part 6 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which covers violations related to the use of motor vehicles.

In a statement, the offender expressed regret for his actions:
“I could have been injured, which would have been very difficult for my loved ones. My family would have suffered too. I regret what I did and promise not to repeat it. You shouldn’t do things like this for the sake of a trend. If you chase trends, you can hurt yourself, your wallet, and your family.”

It is worth noting that similar measures were recently taken against graduates of higher education institutions who posed for photographs in the middle of roads while filming trending videos.
