Large-scale raids are being conducted in Tashkent against offenders dumping waste in unauthorized locations. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

According to the report, the administration has been carefully addressing citizens' concerns and taking strict measures to maintain cleanliness in the capital.

In collaboration with law enforcement agencies, mass raids are being carried out against individuals dumping waste in unauthorized areas. Offenders are being penalized by the applicable administrative laws.

Fines are imposed on violators in line with the Administrative Responsibility Code. Under Article 91−1 of the Code (dumping solid household and construction waste or pouring liquid household waste in unauthorized locations), such violations result in fines ranging from 1 to 3 times the basic calculation amount (375,000 UZS to 1,125,000 UZS) for first-time offenses, and from 5 to 10 times the basic calculation amount (1,875,000 UZS to 3,750,000 UZS) for repeated offenses.

“Cleanliness and order in the city are the responsibility of every citizen. We urge residents to adhere to the rules, respect the environment, and avoid polluting our beloved city. Tashkent is our shared home. Let’s make it cleaner together!” the statement said.

As a reminder, earlier reports on social media claimed that there was a limit of three bags of waste per household. However, the Tashkent City Administration clarified that these claims are completely baseless and that no restrictions have been implemented on waste collection and disposal in the city.
