In the capital city of Tashkent, raids have been started to turn off lights that burn unnecessarily at night and consume too much electricity, as well as advertising materials and signs with brand inscriptions.  JSC "Tashkent City Electric Networks Enterprise" gave information about this.

It is noted that at the meeting held by the head of state on 31 October this year, several tasks on the rational use and saving of energy resources were defined.

Based on these tasks, JSC "Tashkent City Electric Networks Enterprise" developed a plan of measures to save electricity consumption by 10% in Tashkent city.

Accordingly, to ensure efficient and rational use of electricity by all district power supply companies under the control of society, promotional events and evening raid events are being held.

We remind you that yesterday, on 16 November, at a press conference, the Deputy Minister of Energy stated that if the waste of electricity is not stopped, the responsible organizations will not be able to meet the continuous need for electricity.

"As long as we don't stop wasting, we will never be able to cover the demand, the full need, by increasing the production.  We need to learn to be economical.  It's not just an issue that can be solved at the level of the Ministry of Energy or the government.  This is a national idea and should be changed.  Thus we ask for your help in this matter," said the Deputy Minister of Energy.
