Social media circulated reports of white water in the Qoraqamish collector originating from Tashkent. The capital's Department of Ecology promptly addressed the issue.

Upon investigation, it was determined that a substance resembling building putty was illegally dumped into the Qoraqamish collector. The individual responsible for this violation was identified, issued an administrative citation, and fined 3,400,000 soums, ten times the base amount, as stipulated by Article 91 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.

Samples from the contaminated Qoraqamish collector were sent to an environmental laboratory for analysis, currently under examination. Once the inspection is complete, the environmental damage will be assessed, and appropriate restitution fees will be levied.

In other recent incidents, the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant was found to have used fuel oil, resulting in a fine of 1,023,000,000 soums (759 million for environmental pollution and 264 million for soil contamination). Similarly, New Angren IES was fined 1,003,000,000 soums for exceeding air pollution standards.
