A lawyer who accepted a bribe of $5,000 was arrested in Tashkent during a quick event held by the State Security Service. This was reported by UzA.

It is noted that the lawyer of the law firm was caught in a quick event held by the State Security Service in Tashkent when he received $5,000 in exchange for not prosecuting a citizen under his protection through his acquaintances. A criminal case was initiated against his acquaintance under Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened. Investigations are underway.

It is reported that the person who introduced himself as an employee of the State Security Service was caught accepting a bribe in Namangan.
