News that a map of the regions where a magnitude 9 earthquake is expected to occur in Tashkent has been published on social networks. The distributed map predicts earthquakes in Chilonzor, Uchtepa, Shaikhontohur, Almazor, Yakkasaroy and Yunusabad districts of the capital. Sergeli, Bektemir, Mirzo Ulugbek districts are listed as the safest areas. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed an official response to the situation.
