More than 500 houses in Tashkent left without electricity

5117Over 500 houses in Tashkent were left without electricity after a construction company disrupted the power network, according to the Ministry of Energy.
The incident occurred on October 27 at 10:20 a.m. in the Yakkasaray district when "M.M.P." LLC, a construction organization, conducted underground gas pipeline relocation work without coordinating with electricity and gas supply organizations, including "Uzenergoinspeksiya."
During the process, they damaged the electric transmission cables, causing a power outage for 530 residents in the Boshlik and Babur neighborhoods.
The issue was resolved within a few hours, and electricity was restored to the affected areas.
In a related incident, 3,950 residents in the Surkhandarya region recently lost gas supply after a Nexia-3 car collided with a high-pressure gas pipeline at 1:30 a.m. in the "Olovuddin" neighborhood of Denov district. As a result, the gas supply was temporarily cut off for 3,950 residents and 20 wholesale consumers in the area.
