Court sentence was read to the father of Davron Kabulov

Ravshan Kabulov, the father of presenter Davron Kabulov, has been sentenced. This was reported by the information service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that during a control event held by the working group in December 2023, four heating boilers at the hotel located in the Yakkasaroy district, headed by Ravshan Kabulov, were connected to the public gas network between February 24, 2022, and October 18, 2023. These connections were made arbitrarily, without signing a contract with the district gas supply office, without registering the gas meter with the gas office, and without opening a separate account. It was found that a stamp installed on the gas meter was used for the purpose of illegally obtaining gas, allowing him to secretly consume a large amount of natural gas—specifically, 907,558 cubic meters—worth 344,872,000 sums.

In connection with the criminal case initiated regarding this situation, the Yakkasaray district prosecutor's office conducted preliminary investigations. On December 22, 2023, Ravshan Kabulov was charged under Article 169 (Theft) of the Criminal Code, Part 4, Clause "a." The criminal case was subsequently sent to the court for substantive consideration along with the indictment.

According to the verdict of the Yakkasaroy district court on criminal cases dated March 27, 2024, Ravshan Kabulov was found guilty under Clause "a" of Article 169, Part 4 of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment, with Article 72 of the Criminal Code applied, setting a conditional one-year probationary period.

The 344,872,000 sums of material damage determined as part of the criminal case were collected in favor of the "Hududgaz Poytakht" gas supply branch.
