Entrepreneur Constructs a 12-Story Building in Tashkent, Despite Permission for Only 3 Floors

12633The Press Service for regional control inspection of the construction sector in Tashkent city has reported that an entrepreneur illegally constructed an additional 9 floors and an attic in a building for which permission was granted for only 3 floors.
In 2021, the control inspection received a notification about the commencement of construction and assembly works in a commercial and household service complex being built by "M.G.H." LLC. The relevant conclusion from the main construction department of Tashkent city stated that the building was intended to have 3 floors.
However, it was discovered in 2021 that the entrepreneur had been adding extra floors to the building, deviating from the approved project. Despite receiving multiple written instructions and warning letters regarding this violation, the customer continued the construction work.
At present, the businessman is being held accountable under the relevant clauses of Article 99 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which pertains to violations of legislation on urban planning. Lawsuits have been filed with the court authorities regarding this matter.
